Palm Done Right Wishes Our Communities Around the World a Happy New Year

The Palm Done Right family wishes you and yours a happy holiday season and a happy new year. We’re sure that 2023 will be an even better year than in the past, and we hope to make even more progress in our fight in favor of sustainable palm oil.  

In the coming months, it will be more important than ever to bring attention to and spread awareness regarding the harmful practices in the palm oil industry and the need for widespread sustainable practices.  

Why Choose Sustainable Palm Oil in 2023?  

As we look back on the past year, our work in building a community that promotes sustainable practices and builds up habitats, environments, and small farmers instead of the harmful practices from many in the palm oil industry remains our core focus and will continue to be more important than ever as time progresses. 

After all, with palm oil’s prevalence in so many foods, household products, cosmetics, and more, it’s integral to the environment and in the continued popularity of this oil to create ethical practices that uphold the standard of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).  

Our work in changing consumer and manufacturer habits to favor that of organic, sustainable practices in the harvesting and production of palm oil will remain the same in 2023, but our mission will only become more urgent and more powerful than ever.  

This holiday season, take the time to reflect on your own use of palm oil, or products that are produced with it. Your consumption might be more than you even realize – and if so, it’s time to do some research into what steps the manufacturers of these products are taking to aid in leading the world toward a future with fully sustainable palm oil as the standard. If these steps are unclear, making decisions to prioritize companies that take a stand against harmful practices, or consciously buying sustainable palm oil yourself, will make a huge difference in this continued mission.
