Keto-Friendly Fried Brussel Sprouts
(Serves 2)
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
  • 5 lb Brussel Sprouts (sliced)
  • 2 cups Almond Flour (or an alternative)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. lemon pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Palm Oil (to fry)
Instructions:
  1. Slice .5 lbs of Brussel sprouts evenly, removing any wayward leaves
  2. Add a generous amount of palm oil to a pan and set to medium-high heat
  3. Mix lemon pepper and garlic powder
  4. Add the eggs to the mixture, stirring gradually
  5. Add salt and pepper to the almond flour to taste; mix thoroughly
  6. Alternate dunking Brussel sprouts completely in the egg and almond flour, making sure Brussel sprouts are completely covered
  7. When oil is ready, place Brussel sprouts in pan and let fry under golden brown on all sides
  8. Remove from hot oil and place on rack or paper towel to cool
  9. Enjoy!
