Choices Matter: Join Us This September For The Second Annual Palm Done Right® Month
Take A Stand Against Dirty Palm,
Palm Done Right Is The Sustainable Solution
Boulder, Colo. June 11, 2019 — Back for its second year, mission-based educational platform Palm Done Right® (PDR) is enlisting industry and public support to prove that there is a positive solution for palm oil. Palm Done Right means oil palm cultivation that is 100% organic, deforestation-free, wildlife friendly, fair and social.
Palm Done Right retail partner Natural Grocers is an enthusiastic supporter of the cause. “We’re thrilled to work with Natural Habitats and participate in Palm Done Right Month!” says Christie Zimmerman, Products Standards Manager, Food, “It champions best practices to preserve environments and animals in ecologically sensitive areas worldwide, supports socially conscious jobs and educates customers on how their dollars impact positive change. PDR is a bridge that connects consumers with the choices they want that benefit the triple bottom line.”
Throughout Palm Done Right Month, we will shine a spotlight on the topic of palm oil, educate consumers and encourage them to take a stand by choosing products made with Palm Done Right palm oil. Saying ‘no’ to palm oil is not the solution and will only shift deforestation. Instead, we need to refocus the conversation to choices that are organic and sustainable.
Join the movement!
Join a growing group of dedicated farmers, brands and retailers that showcase every day that palm oil can be grown for good. And when “done right”, will bring significant positive impact to the world.
Retailers play a key role in the organic and natural product industry as gatekeepers for their customers who look for healthy and sustainable food and lifestyle choices. By gaining retailer support as Palm Done Right partners, we will broaden our message and help support the brands that use organic palm oil in their products.
With your support during Palm Done Right Month we can:
