And, you don’t need to wait until next September — sign up today and join our growing community!

Thanks to all retail and brand partners who helped make the first Palm Done Right Month a success. It’s through your continued support that we will grow the PDR movement and bring retailers, brands and consumers together to help change the conversation about palm oil, and ultimately, how palm is produced. Next year’s event will be even bigger and bolder, so stay tuned for updates!

We’d like to thank Alfalfa’s, our local retail partner, for their support of Palm Done Right Month in stores this September. We visited the Boulder store and chatted with Store Manager Rebekah Graumann about educating consumers about the importance of supporting sustainable palm oil production.

“In order to educate our customers, we created a Palm Done Right Month in-store display featuring exclusively Palm Done Right products and facts and figures about sustainably-produced palm oil. The infographic tells us an incredibly compelling story about Palm Oil production. It puts into context the 62.92 million metric tons of palm oil that will be consumed globally this year in a more comprehendible package and I think that is an impactful figure for customers to see and absorb. We hope we helped move the needle a bit further this month.”

Jerry is the new Grocery Manager at Alfalfa’s. He’s excited to start educating shoppers about the benefits of Palm Done Right.

Nate lives in Longmont, works in Boulder and shops at Alfalfa’s. He did not know about palm oil, but was interested to learn about the issues as well as the sustainable solutions that PDR offers.

Michelle, a Boulder local, Mom and athlete discovered palm oil thanks to this display. She was excited to learn about palm oil and is eager to cook with it and look for it in other products.

Marina is visiting from New York City and was not aware of palm oil, but was happy to discover Palm Done Right (and to backpack in Colorado!).
