Happy Holidays! This year for the holidays I wanted to create a moisturizing soap that produces a great lather while cleansing the skin and making it feel calm. After much thought and contemplation, I decided to add a combination of coconut milk and kaolin clay, coconut milk and rose clay or coconut milk and organic cocoa to my new recipe – depending on which soap I was making. So, I brought my Christmas soap line to a whole new level by creating a soap that contains my usual base oils of extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil and castor oil along with the coconut milk and clays. I have been using my base oils for years and find they produce an amazing top quality bar of soap.

Also, this year I chose to start buying my sustainable palm from a company called Palm Done Right. They are an amazing company who cares about our earth’s natural habitats, the environment, our planet, and people. They have proven that palm oil can be grown for good in an ethical manner and does not harm animals in their natural habitats or our environment. These are all issues that I care about very much. Please check out their website and learn about them here. I have recently partnered with PDR and now only use their palm oil in my soaps and can honestly say the integrity of my soaps has improved tremendously since using it.
