Group Releases Inaugural Impact Report Illustrating Progress of the Palm Done Right Mission
Boulder, Colo. Aug 4, 2022 — Palm Done Right, a mission-based educational platform dedicated to supporting people, animals, and the environment by proving that palm oil can be grown for good, announced today the fifth annual Palm Done Right Awareness Month. The awareness initiative runs from September 19 through September 30, 2022 and aims to celebrate the continued growth of Palm Done Right and encourage brands to source palm oil that is organic, wildlife-friendly, fair trade, and deforestation-free.
The Palm Done Right (PDR) Month campaign highlights Palm Done Right brand partners ranging from personal care products to packaged goods and their top-notch products that are made, in part, with sustainably sourced palm oil; the retailers that put emphasis on sustainable sourcing; and the consumers whose passion for eco-friendly products supports both established and emerging brands. During PDR Month, Palm Done Right will share educational content on their social media platforms, collaborate with influencers, host giveaways, highlight brands and partners, and announce brand new partners who are doing palm right.
“For more than five years Palm Done Right has created a positive impact in the packaged goods space by educating consumers and empowering brands to make eco-friendly choices and source planet-friendly palm oil,” said Monique van Wijnbergen, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Communications at Natural Habitats.”We celebrate PDR Month to continue that education, celebrate the Palm Done Right community, and continue to highlight the amazing brands we partner with to help make products featuring sustainable palm oil more accessible to consumers across the globe.”
