Exciting new partners include teen-founded soap brand
Turner & Addie as well as two new Canadian partners
Boulder, Colo. March 25, 2021 — Mission-based educational platform Palm Done Right is dedicated to supporting people, animals, and the environment by proving that palm oil can be grown for good. Demonstrating continued growth with the addition of six new brands, retail, and business partners, PDR continues to work with companies and brands that are committed to clean ingredients and supply chain transparency.
The newest additions to Palm Done Right include:
Joining the ranks of a growing list of teen-founded brands, Maryland-based Turner and Addie were started by a brother and sister duo on a mission to rid all teen showers of nasty chemical-filled body wash and soap. Their goal — to provide teens with natural soap products that are both good for their skin and good for the environment.
“As a teen-owned business, we feel we have a responsibility to help educate our generation about the impacts the ingredients in products we use in our everyday routines — like washing your face — can have on your body and the environment. Palm oil is an amazing ingredient to use in soap making, but often, gets a bad rap. It’s full of vitamins and minerals that are very healthy for your body. Partnering with Palm Done Right allows us to feel good about using organic palm oil in our products.” Turner and Addie, Co-Founders
Ash Hopper handcrafted soaps endeavor to maintain and continually improve upon their connection with Earth’s natural environment. Their soaps are co-created with nature to inspire customers to take action, follow their passion, and pursue their life purpose!
“We are committed to continuing to make the best choices that we can for mother earth and its inhabitants and that is why we partnered with Palm Done Right.” Thena Donnelly, Ash Hopper Founder
With four locations in Wisconsin, Outpost Natural Foods Cooperative is 23,000 owners strong and celebrates fresh, made-from-scratch foods, sustainable living, and the transformative power of a genuine, local economy. Outpost is a community of evangelists and experts that believe we do better when we work together.
Oh, Oh Organic believes that Sustainability means not destroying a village, your body — or the planet in the course of making an ingredient. For over 20 years they have been committed to sourcing sustainable ingredients and continue to supply certified organic, sustainable, and Non-GMO ingredients to the cosmetic industry. They believe in full transparency from early-stage ingredients all the way to the finished product.
Increasing International Reach with Canada
PDR is growing in the Canadian market too with the addition of the Canada Organic Trade Association and Canadian-based Riverside Soaps.
The Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA) is the membership-based association for organic agriculture and products in Canada. Their members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmers’ associations, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants, retailers, and all points along the organic value chain.
“We at COTA support Palm Done Right as an organic leader with their commitment to healthier and happier communities, farmers, animals, and environment as it directly resonates with our values. Palm Done Right is an exceptional addition to our membership body. “ – Tia Loftsgard, Executive Director, Canada Organic Trade Association
Riverside Soaps strives to minimize its impact on the environment while providing customers with excellent natural, and nearly-natural, vegetarian and vegan soap, bath, and body products. Their wild-harvested, locally sourced organic ingredients include ingredients such as Dandelions, Pineapple Weed, Clover, and Plantain.
“Riverside Soaps partnered with Palm Done Right as a step to ensure that Fair Trade enterprises are supported by our little business, but also because we believe in Palm Done Right’s mission to help restore the land by adding biodiversity back to the areas where it had once been stripped away. By planting indigenous plant species among the Palms, they are healing the earth in Ecuador, and that goes a long way toward helping us achieve our goal of being an eco-friendly company.” Theresa Marshall, Owner
With a growing network of partners, Palm Done Right continues to scale its efforts and expand its reach. Their growing community of retail and brand partners continues to support the Palm Done Right mission by educating consumers about what it means to produce palm oil that is 100% organic, deforestation-free, wildlife-friendly, fair & social. These companies share a commitment to full transparency and positively impacting communities and biodiversity.
