One of our Palm Done Right Promises is to produce wildlife friendly palm oil that protects species and ensures diversity. This is crucial for our living planet. Sloths are native to the area where we source our palm fruit and we want to protect their habitats through wildlife friendly palm cultivation.
In order to create a connection between consumers’ product choices and how those choices affect wildlife, we created a new Palm Done Right logo: “Shop Smart, Save Sloths.” We want to make consumers aware of the link between their choices and the preservation of wildlife. We will be highlighting the sloth by motivating consumers to “Shop Smart” and make sure that the products they are buying are wildlife friendly and deforestation free. We will also be featuring the sloth in our upcoming “Protect Our Species”campaign in June.
