You may have heard of all the destruction palm oil is causing. But that’s not the full story. Done right, organic palm oil can be one of the most sustainable and beneficial oils in the world, nurturing people, communities, animals and the environment.
50% of consumer products contain palm oil. It is used in everything from food products, personal care, cosmetics, and household products. You may not be aware of palm oil, but you definitely use it every day. Many products that use palm oil aren’t clearly labeled. Palm oil and its derivatives can appear under many names.
In September 2018 we launched Palm Done Right Month, highlighting and celebrating all partners that take their palm oil sourcing seriously. During Palm Done Right Month we stand together to educate consumers and advocate change.
